What are my credentials?

A huge amount of work, time and energy goes into writing a book, so, understandably, choosing an editor is a big decision. You want to know you've made the right choice.

• Member of the Chartered Institute for Editing and Proofreading. Currently undergoing training for their proofreading certification. Being a member connects me to a wide range of professionals in the editing and publishing world and sees me taking part in regular workshops.

• Books and newspaper/magazine editor. Both have seen me meticulously editing content before the wider world lays eyes on it, it's just that magazine articles are usually somewhat shorter than novels!

• Projects in the publishing world. I have done some PR for an indie publishing company and am currently helping on the launch of a new app which aims to connect authors with publishers. 

• Education. I gained gold standard in my journalism qualification via the National Council for the Training of Journalists and a BA (Hons) in English Literature from the University of Warwick.
